Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $100 per person is due within 3 days of confirmation. Additional deposits may be required for airfare, theatre tickets and rail tickets. Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure. For reservations made within 60 days of arrival, full payment is due immediately. Reservations not paid by due date will automatically be cancelled. Forms of payment accepted by Yankee Holidays are check, American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. IF YOU PAY YOUR DEPOSIT WITH A CREDIT CARD, YLH will charge the balance due 60 days prior to departure to the same credit card used for deposit. Last Minute Bookings: Last minute bookings are accepted within 15 to 3 full business days of arrival. A $25.00 dollar surcharge will apply to all last minute reservations. Reservations must be guaranteed at the time of booking with a credit card. Once payment has been received reservation is non-refundable. Tour Documents: Documents will be mailed 25 days prior to departure. Yankee Holidays is not responsible for lost or stolen documents. Travel Agents should examine documents upon receipt to insure information is correct. If documents are not received 10 days prior to departure, travel agent must contact Yankee Holidays immediately. If agent fails to notify Yankee Holidays, additional fees may apply. Surcharges: During some holidays and special event periods, packages may require a surcharge, be completely non-refundable and/or require immediate full payment. Change Fee: Once under deposit, each change will require a $20 change fee per reservation. Changes requested less than 3 business days prior to arrival will incur increased change fees and may not be accepted. Changes requiring re-issue of documents will incur a $50 per reservation fee. Changes requiring re-issue of documents and air/rail tickets will incur a $150.00 per person fee. No name changes allowed on air tickets once they are issued. No refunds on air tickets once they are issued. Cancellation: All Cancellations must be made by phone to Yankee Holidays prior to travel date. In order to receive a refund, all documents must be returned to Yankee Holidays or your travel agent. There are no refunds on event tickets, unused vouchers or partially used vouchers. Rail packages are non-refundable less than 30 days prior tp departure. Cancellation fees: * 31 + Days Prior to Departure: $200 Per Person plus supplier fees * 30 -16 Days Prior to Departure: $300 Per Person plus supplier fees * 15 - 4 Days Prior to Departure: $400 Per Person plus supplier fees * 3 Days Prior to Departure - day of departure: No Refund Above fees do not apply to customers purchasing the Trip Protection Option (TPO). Click here for more information on our TPO, starting at $49. Airline ticket cancellations or changes will require additional charges that may not be covered by insurance. Please speak with your reservation agent for more details. Cancellation of Ski Resort Packages: All cancellations must be made with Yankee Holidays, not directly with individual suppliers. Cancellation fees are $75.00 per person if canceled within 61 days or more of arrival. Cancellations fees are 25% of the per person package price including fees for issued airline tickets and/or fees imposed by the resort if canceled between 61 - 46 days prior to arrival. Cancellations received within 45 days of arrival are non-refundable. *Any Whistler arrivals between 12/20 - 1/2, package is non-refundable 60 days prior to travel date. Additional cancellation fees may apply during peak holiday travel periods. Please call for details. All Cancellations must be received by Yankee Holidays prior to travel date. In order to receive a refund, all documents must be returned to Yankee Holidays or your travel agent. There are no refunds on event tickets, unused vouchers or partially used vouchers. Golf tee times are non-refundable from 14 day prior. Rail Packages are non-refundable from 30 or more days prior to departure. A REFUND AUTHORIZATION MUST BE FILLED OUT! No refunds will be considered until all documents are returned to Yankee Holidays. Additional Comprehensive Insurance is highly recommended to protect you against these fees if cancellation is due to a covered reason. Please ask your Reservation Agent for more details. Refunds: All requests for refunds must be made in writing within 14 days of arrival. Unused or partially used vouchers are non-refundable. Yankee Holidays’ responsibility is to ensure proper reservations. Tour services are furnished by independent contractors not owned by Yankee Holidays. The responsibility of delivering service rests entirely with the providers of the service. Please contact Yankee Holidays immediately if you have any problems on your trip. We will intervene to ensure your satisfaction. Acceptance of any tour package from Yankee Holidays shall release Yankee Holidays from responsibility in any way for any injury or liability arising from the performance of, or failure to perform, such services. Customs and Immigration: All US citizens must show proper identification to enter Canada and return to the US.
